Man’s Best Friend? Well, According to Stuart, A Good Classic Car Can Give Just About Anyone A Run for Their Money…

Stuart Simonsen bought his first car in high school — a 64 ½ Mustang. That car – with its long hood and short deck – revolutionized the automobile. That spirit of innovation is a common thread in Stuart’s life, but we’ll circle back to that.

“As much as I loved that car, I actually had to sell it in order to go to college.” Stuart attended Concordia College and studied finance, and he’s worked for a number of successful businesses across a variety of industries. As a “serial entrepreneur”, Stuart is currently Partner and Director of Joint Venture for Saddlebrook Investments. Here, he gets to live out his passion for innovation and strategic investments, the perfect blend of the analytical and the artistic. This blend is also the driving force behind Stuart’s love of classic cars. “I love the sound, the smell, and, of course, the look!”

As a collector, Stuart has a few beauties he likes to keep around, but some of his favorites are the 67’ Shelby he first bought when he was 21 and several other classics he bought to replace that 64 ½ Mustang that helped him get to college.

In his spare time, Stuart loves spending time with his family, friends, and exploring the beautiful state of Montana. Anyone who knows him knows he lives by the motto of “love what you do and you won’t work a day in your life,” and that sense of play is evident in Stuart’s professional and personal life. “I take my roles and responsibilities very seriously, but I try not to take myself too seriously.” This philosophy has proven a unique asset in Stuart’s life, and he hopes to share a bit of that along his journey.
